Merry Christmas

Dear Friends and Family,

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you all! This year has just flown by so fast.

OK its updating time! ...

Kevin, Mia and I, went up to North Carolina for Thanksgiving this year. We had a blast. We got to meet my niece for the first time. What a cutie she is. I'm sure that she and Mia will be heart breakers when they get older.

We didn't get to see any snow but the morning we left NC to come back home, our car was covered in ice. We did see some very far off mountain tops with snow on top but, we would have much rather seen it up close and let Mia play in it. Maybe next year for Christmas!

We are here for Christmas this year. This year I will be cooking my very first Christmas ham. (oh boy, wish me luck!)

This Christmas should be a lot of fun. Mia loves to rip paper so she should enjoy opening all her gifts.

We took her to get her very first Christmas tree 2 weeks ago. She seemed to enjoy it. We got home and she just couldn't keep her hands off of it. She helped me decorate the tree for a little bit and then she decided that she wanted to Undecorate it. (lol)

It took me a few days to teach her not to touch the tree or the ornaments. She's doing much better now. She likes watching the lights twinkle and flash.

I cant believe that Mia is almost two! Where does the time go? This year we are having her party at an indoor play place called, "Lets Play." We have been there several times with her and she loves it. She hates leaving. I'm sure that she will love it and that she will enjoy herself with family and friends.
Her theme this year is Elmo. Believe it or not, I had a hard time trying to decide which theme to do for her this year. I hope it gets easier. (lol)
After her party, everyone is coming back to our house for cake. I can't wait to take a lot of pictures for you all to see. She loves cake! Then again, who doesn't.

Well, school is going well for me. I'm in my 6th class now. I have to take 4 more classes and I will be considered a Senior. (whohoo) I cant' wait to be done with school.
I'm still watching Michelle (6 month old) and Ivy (2.5 years old) from the house.

Kevin is getting over a nasty cold that he has had for the last few days. We thought he had the flu but he didn't. Thank goodness.
Work is going about the same for him.

Well, I think that is all for right now. Have a safe and Merry Christmas everyone!

Love,
Kevin, Allison and Mia
